ADERCARTA - INSacco

What it is. Made of paper, the INSacco salad bag combines high technical performance, better ergonomics and environmental sustainability in a totally new shape.

The revolution lies in the shape: open on two sides, it acquires a rhomboid shape that is perfect for the salad product and totally user-friendly for the consumer and the operator.

Materials. INSacco available in three different types of FSC certified paper: PURANATURA transparent for pre-packaged products, KALIM particularly resistant, CARTAERBA with a marked ecological aspect, thanks to the presence of grass clippings in the mixture.

Product or target market. Salad bag with excellent resistance and damp resistance, which guarantees a longer life to the vegetables, avoiding wilting.

Design and/or communication. A clear and complete graphic design enhances both the bag and the content, inviting consumers to reduce waste thanks to a transpirant packaging, which prolongs the shelf life; clear pictograms indicate how to properly dispose of INSacco: in the wet fraction with the salad waste, or in the paper collection if only bag.

Technology. Structural technical modifications on machines producing traditional flat-bottomed bags have made it possible to obtain a bag open on two sides and create the rhomboid shape. The partnership with three paper mills, at the forefront in the sectors of reference (havana, pure cellulose, recycled and special papers), has then allowed  INSacco to be realised in the different types.    

Sustainability. Of this package, Adercarta emphasizes environmental sustainability: exclusive use of cellulosic material from FSC / PEFC certified forests; ability to ensure a longer life to the products thanks to the transpirability of the paper; double possibility, at the end of life, to recycle the bag or dispose of it amongcompostable waste.
