Goglio SpA - Pouch “ready for recycling”

What it is. The "ready for recycling" stand-up pouch for soap with dispenser cap is one of Goglio's green proposals, identified with the fres-co system^® brand. After use, thanks to the formulation of the material of which it is composed, the packaging can be easily disposed of in the plastic recycling circuit.

Materials. The stand-up pouch is made in two variants with a multilayer laminate composed of materials from the polyolefin family (polyethylene and polypropylene), and a polyethylene dispensing cap. In one case, the barrier is guaranteed by metallization, in the other through the application of aluminum oxide.

Product content or target market. Liquid detergent soap, but the packaging is suitable for all liquid products for home and personal care.

Design and/or communication. Goglio's "ready for recycling" packaging combines attention to the environment and current circular economy objectives with high odor and fragrance barrier properties.

Technology. The use of raw materials from the same polyolefin family in the formulation of the laminate facilitates its disposal (the components of the pouch do not have to be separated). Furthermore, the barrier to aromas and odors is guaranteed, excluding any aromatic contamination which would not be possible in the case of a single material. The solution benefits from all the advantages of the system offered by Goglio, because it can be filled on the machines of the GNova family, which ensure reliability, efficiency and innovation thanks also to the GoglioMind IoT connection service.

Sustainability. The "ready for recycling" pouch has been developed with the support of the certifying body Cyclos, obtaining a recyclability degree between 90 and 92%, and ensuring compatibility with the principles of circular economy.
