Group Evolution

The announcement to rebrand Inkmaker Group to IM GROUP was made official in the historic headquarters of San Gillio (TO) - now the headquarters of the new brand - on April 22, World Earth Day.

This choice, certainly not accidental, it is intended to underline the commitment to the adoption of sustainable practices at a social and productive level, for which IM Group, in partnership with Deloitte, is designing a roadmap.

Planned for more than two years by Inkmaker, the creation of a holding brand became necessary for several reasons, starting from the internal evolution of business processes, software, technologies used and their use in offices around the world.

An evolution in many ways related to the growth by external routes of Inkmaker which, since 2019, has acquired several companies (Rexson and ValeTech in the UK, Tecnopails in Italy, Swesa in Germany).

Strengthened by a new combination of experience, information, technology, hardware, the company - which, we remind, has its core business in the design and construction of mixing, dosing and filling systems in the paints, coatings and inks sector - therefore wanted to consolidate the various brands under a single brand, initially Inkmaker Group and now IM GROUP.

Complete solutions provider

The strategy behind this expansion policy has been to create a complete and reliable supply chain, serving - primarily, but not exclusively - the ink, varnish and coatings industry.

Against this backdrop, the consolidation of the various brands under the single, autonomous brand of the holding company is the consistent conclusion to the transition.

The creation of IM GROUP thus defines the identity that has been assumed in recent years, which aims to establish itself on the global market as a “Total Solutions Provider”.

With the intention of creating areas of excellence, where to exploit the specific skills acquired over time, the areas of intervention of each company have also been defined. Thus, Inkmaker will focus primarily on ink dispensing and software development; Rexson will operate in the coatings and liquid inks sector; Vale-Tech will deal with narrow-web technology and offset inks, both UV and conventional; Swesa will target the food, pharmaceutical, corrugated packaging and cosmetics sectors; Teko will remain in the POS and R&D training sectors; and Tecnopails will manufacture filling machines.

The promises in the IM GROUP logo

A face composed of a series of blue triangles, the color of trust and safety, commonly associated with high technology. The triangles converge into a single point, as do the Group’s brands and skills, forming a strong whole with a precise “human identity”.
And then, the stylized crown interprets the firm’s will to maintain its leading position in the industries it serves. The IM GROUP typography, created using a custom font, communicates the Group’s various sectors of activity: coatings, inks, chemicals, adhesives and much more.
Finally, in an assertive steel grey, the “credo” The Colour of Trust expresses the values that guide the group: Truthfulness, Responsibility, Understanding, Safe and Tailormade).
